Description
English: Maj. Elisa A. Hammer, bio-environmental engineer, 779th Aerospace Medical Squadron, 79th Medical Wing, simulates the use of the Hazardous Air Pollutants on Site apparatus, which identifies an unknown chemical and quantifies its potential exposure to Joint Base Andrews or to neighboring communities. A native of Hawaii, Hammer brought her passion for the environment to the Air Force, where she has served in the bio-environmental career for 12 years. (Courtesy photo)
